Independent. Editorially rigorous. Built for the leaders, founders and investors making decisions on the next decade of capital, code and infrastructure across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
The Oasis Report is the premier independent publication tracking the monumental economic transformation of the Gulf. For international investors, sovereign funds, and high-growth founders, we deliver the critical bridge—offering proprietary intelligence, rigorous policy analyses, and on-the-ground news on Vision 2030, growth capital flows, and giga-project developments.
"We started The Oasis Report because the most consequential capital story of our generation deserves a newsroom that takes it seriously."
Our coverage is built around the questions our readers actually have to answer in their work — not the news cycle.
The Kingdom's domestic economy, Vision 2030 execution, PIF, sovereign capital, and the giga-projects redefining the map.
Macro across the GCC, sovereign credit, oil & energy markets, central-bank policy, and the data that moves them.
Founders, funding rounds, exits and the operating challenges of building a venture-scale company in the region.
The funds, the LPs, the platforms — and the deal flow that doesn't make the press release.
From SAMA licensing to BNPL to the wholesale rails being built out across Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.
The region's AI ambitions — sovereign compute, model labs, talent, regulation, and the energy required to power it.
Long-form, data-driven examinations of the structural shifts driving the next decade of regional growth.
Carefully selected voices from the people building, financing and regulating the new Gulf economy.

Joined from MAGNiTT, where he led data & insights. Covers the regional VC ecosystem with a focus on fund formation, LP flows, and the operating challenges of scaling out of the Gulf.
Formerly at TechCrunch and Wamda. Breaks the region's largest fintech rounds. Hosts The Dispatch podcast, a weekly conversation with the founders building the GCC's financial infrastructure.
Our standards are not negotiable. They govern every story we publish and every decision we make about what to publish.
The Oasis Report is privately held by its founders and a small group of editorially-aligned individual investors. No fund, sovereign, family office or corporate has any editorial input, formal or informal. We publish a full ownership disclosure on our masthead each January.
We do not trade favourable coverage for access, embargoes, or exclusives. We do not show drafts to subjects. We do not negotiate headlines. If a story is right, we publish it whether the subject likes it or not.
When we get something wrong, we say so — clearly, at the top of the original story, with the date and nature of the correction. A standing log of every correction issued since 2021 is publicly available on our standards page.
Our journalists are paid above the regional market median, work full-time, and are not measured on traffic. We pay for travel, FOI fees, and outside expert review on every long-form investigation.
We cover Saudi Arabia and the GCC on their terms — economically, culturally and historically — not as a foreign story for outside readers. Our newsroom is majority-regional and our editorial decisions are made in Riyadh and Dubai, not London or New York.
Our newsroom protects sources rigorously. Reach us via secure channels listed on our contact page.
