Dubizzle Group has announced a strategic investment in Takeem, a UAE-based proptech startup that offers a pioneering rental guarantee platform. This partnership positions Bayut and Dubizzle as the exclusive portals for Takeem's Rental Guarantee solution, which aims to provide landlords with protection against tenant payment defaults while facilitating emergency maintenance coverage and enabling monthly digital rent payments. Founded in 2023 by Rakesh Mavath and Pooja Vithlani, Takeem has quickly scaled its operations, onboarding over 100,000 rental units and experiencing a remarkable 900% increase in client onboarding over the past two months.

The Rental Guarantee service is touted as the first of its kind in the GCC, addressing a critical gap in the rental market by offering landlords a more secure, structured, and predictable leasing experience. Dubizzle Group's CEO, Haider Ali Khan, emphasized the alignment of visions between Dubizzle and Takeem, highlighting the importance of trust and transparency in property transactions. This investment follows Dubizzle's recent partnership with Tern, another UAE-based rental payments platform, further solidifying Dubizzle's strategy to create an integrated digital rental ecosystem.

With this investment, Dubizzle Group Ventures is backing technology innovators that enhance its marketplace operations across the GCC. The collaboration with Takeem is expected to bolster the rental experience for landlords, agents, and tenants alike, providing a comprehensive solution that addresses both payment flexibility for tenants and income security for landlords. As the UAE rental market continues to evolve, this partnership underscores Dubizzle's commitment to fostering a more dependable and connected property ecosystem.
