Dubizzle Group has made a strategic investment in Tern, a UAE-based rental rewards platform, to enhance the rental payment experience for tenants using its property portals. This partnership will allow tenants to pay their rent via credit card while earning loyalty points, streamlining the payment process for landlords and agents across the UAE. The integration of Tern into Dubizzle and Bayut aims to eliminate hidden fees and credit card premiums, providing a more transparent and flexible digital payment solution. With over AED 150 million in annualized rent payment volume, Tern operates a multi-stakeholder loyalty network that connects tenants, landlords, banks, and merchants to modernize rent collection in the region. Haider Ali Khan, CEO of Dubizzle Group UAE, emphasized that this collaboration not only benefits renters by offering a more convenient payment method but also creates new opportunities for landlords and agents in the competitive rental market. Dubizzle Group Ventures, the venture capital arm of Dubizzle, is focused on investing in early-stage technology startups in the GCC, leveraging its significant user base of 20 million monthly users and 58 million visits across its platforms.
