Keyper, a UAE-based proptech startup, has successfully raised $11 million in a Series A funding round led by Speedinvest, with participation from notable investors including NeoVentures, MEVP, and the Dubai Future District Fund. Founded in 2022 by Omar Abu Innab and Walid Al Saqqaf, Keyper is on a mission to modernize the residential rental market by enabling tenants to pay rent monthly while allowing landlords to receive upfront payments. This innovative approach not only streamlines the rental process but also integrates property management and financial services within a single digital platform. The new capital will be instrumental in expanding Keyper's offerings, particularly its monthly rent payment solution, and enhancing its partnerships with institutional landlords and property owners across the UAE.

Since its inception, Keyper has financed over $44 million in rent value and currently manages more than 10,500 properties valued at over $6 billion. The startup has also gained traction with over 100,000 app downloads, indicating a strong demand for its services. The funding round builds on a previously announced $30 million Sukuk financing agreement with Franklin Templeton, further solidifying Keyper's financial foundation as it seeks to transform the rental experience in the UAE.

Keyper's strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as the Dubai Land Department and major financial institutions underscore its commitment to driving digital transformation in the rental market. With the UAE rental landscape increasingly shifting towards flexibility and digital solutions, Keyper's platform addresses a critical pain point by offering a modern alternative to traditional annual payment models. Investors are optimistic about Keyper's potential, recognizing the opportunity to establish a robust infrastructure that could redefine how rental transactions are conducted in the region.
