The report emphasizes notable advancements made in 2025, including the implementation of stricter regulations for serious traffic violations involving foreign drivers, improvements in emergency response times, and the establishment of Saudi Road Code standards in new infrastructure projects aimed at bolstering safety and sustainability. The report also identifies the primary causes of accidents, with insufficient safe following distance and sudden swerving being the leading factors, underscoring the ongoing necessity for initiatives that promote responsible driving behavior.
