The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a publication that not only celebrates the milestones of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 but also underscores the vital role played by over 50 American companies in this transformative initiative. In a foreword, Steve Lutes, Vice President for Middle East Affairs at the Chamber, emphasized that American firms have been instrumental in the Kingdom's economic evolution through investments, technology transfer, and expertise across various sectors, including energy, finance, and digital technology. This partnership is evolving beyond mere commercial transactions, focusing on broader themes of innovation and transformation that align with Saudi Arabia's ambitious economic goals.

Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., highlighted the significant achievements of Vision 2030, noting that non-oil sectors now constitute over half of the Kingdom's economy. The unemployment rate has dramatically decreased from 12% to 6.4%, and the homeownership rate has risen from 47% to 66%. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia surpassed its tourism target by welcoming 123 million visitors last year, indicating a robust growth trajectory in non-oil industries.

The report also reflects the contributions of U.S. companies in developing new industries and enhancing education and healthcare, thereby fostering a skilled workforce. The U.S.-Saudi Business Program is central to this initiative, aiming to fortify trade and investment relations while connecting American businesses with emerging opportunities in Saudi Arabia. This collaborative effort is poised to stimulate further economic diversification and innovation within the Kingdom, reinforcing its position as a pivotal player in the Gulf region's economic landscape.
